Sweet Static Update

Just a quick update on the site. Been in one of those moods the last couple of weeks and haven't been updating much. Lots going on in personal life (new job coming up, really busy at work, preparing for the DJ gig) so been having trouble getting the energy up to do what I want. Reminder: Sweet Static Live Tomorrow Night

In the middle of putting some mix CDs together to lighten my load for tomorrow night when I'll be the first DJ from CJAM for the new weekly series, Radio Free Thursdays. See Sweet Static Live: DJ'ing This Thursday

CJAM 91.5 FM in Windsor/Detroit and The Avalon Front are starting a new weekly series called Radio Free Thursdays. Every week a CJAM regular will move from the airwaves and into the club to bring their unique brand of music to the masses.

I have the honor of kicking off the series this Thursday, June 7. I think the time is from 9pm to 1am but I'll confirm that in the next day or so.

What to expect? Who knows. Honestly don't have a solid line-up of songs to play but for the most part it'll be what you hear on the radio version. A mix of indie, alt-country, alternative one hit wonders, covers, classic CanCon and anything else I can think of that is good and I like.
