Sweet Static Grand Slam-Geoff Berner
Anyway I have decided to bring back the idea but to modify it a bit. So now it will be known as the Sweet Static Grand Slam. Why the Grand Slam? Well I've shortened it to four questions and that was the only thing I could think of to do with the number four.
So last night I had the pleasure of seeing Geoff Berner and Wax Mannequin at the Phog Lounge here in Windsor. I met Geoff the last time he was in town and he's a great guy with a lot of great stories to tell.
He's been tourning his last album, The Whiskey Rabbi, for close to a couple of years now and in October is planning to start work on a new record, which is to be released on Jericho Beach Music. Right now he's in the middle of a tour across Canada to promote his new booklet, "How To Be An Accordion Player" before heading back over to Europe to tour with Kaizers Orchestra
So with that here is the first edition of the Sweet Static Grand Slam with Geoff Berner.
