The Anti-Hit List for August 26
Really quick recap of John Sakamoto's Anti-Hit List for August 26.
Going to start with a band I really like. Vancouver's Ox is back and have a new album coming out in October. To tide you over there are two songs from it up on the band's Myspace page, "Miss Idaho" and "Surrender".
Up next is mash-up time from Girl Talk. It's rapping over a bunch of samples. Interesting stuff that has you trying to guess all the familiar songs in the back.
Girl Talk-"Bounce That"
One more mash with a ton of bands. Check out this list; Wheatus, Shaggy, Fatboy Slim, Will Smith, Steve Miller, Weezer and The Kingsmen. Really fun sing along on all the songs here from DJ WyZz. Maybe my favorite mash-up of the year.
DJ WyZz-"The 7th Inning Stretch"
Other stuff on this list includes Blackie And The Rodeo Kings and Joshua Radin a bunch of mashes. To see the entire list head here.
Probably going to be slow updating the rest of the week as I'm moving but then Sweet Static will be fully operational again..
