Phog Phest This Saturday
Back a few months ago, CBC Radio 3 ran a contest to name the best live venue in Canada. They started with a hundred nominated venues. They then went to fifty, then twenty and finally ten before naming the winner via an online vote. As most people know by know the winner was Windsor's own, Phog Lounge.
As winner they got a concert from Radio 3. Now with Phog having a very small capacity they've turned it into an outdoor festival, this upcoming Saturday. CBC has brought Holy Fuck, Arkells and Green Go and Phog has brought the best bands from Southern Ontario as well as some friends of the bar from out of town.
WAMM (Windsor Arts & Music Monthly) have brought forth the first schedule for the celebratory show this Saturday. All times are subject to change.
Radio 3 will be broadcasting live from 5-8 pm so you can hear Yellow Wood, Green Go, Arkells and Holy Fuck.

The show is free but there are tickets for the licensed area for $15. Last I heard over a week ago they were over half gone so if you're planning on going and haven't bought a ticket yet I'd get on it.
